The St. Martin de Porres Ministry of St. Mary's is inspired by the humility and charity of it's namesake. The Ministry strives to promote understanding and respect by extending friendship to all and working and praying for peace. Part of its mission is to enhance parish life through education, prayer, fellowship, and example. The Ministry reaches out and embraces all cultures within our local community.

Each Advent season, the St. Martin de Porres group adopts several families who need assistance, and it sponsors a parish Angel Tree. It also provides an annual Gathering Area display in honor of African American History Month.
